About

Manasa Devi Temple is a sacred Swayambhu shrine dedicated to Goddess Manasa Devi, serving devotees through daily worship, naga puja, spiritual guidance, and cultural traditions.

Our History

Sri Manasa Devi Temple in Khasimpet (Kasimpet/Manasavaram), near Karimnagar in Telangana, is widely revered as a Swayambhu (self-manifested) Shakti shrine. The temple is known for naga worship, protection, blessings for children, and fulfilling sincere wishes.

Local tradition says there was once a Veerabhadra Swamy shrine here. When villagers tried to re-establish/shift the idol, devotees believe Goddess Manasa manifested at the same spot—this is why the shrine is regarded as “Swayambhu,” and Manasa Devi worship became central here.

A key highlight is the presence of 108 Naga idols (along with other sacred symbols in the परिसर). Devotees commonly pray here for naga dosha remedies, protection, marriage blessings, and child blessings, and many offer abhishekam/water offerings as part of their devotion.
